Renowned American gospel rapper Lecrae has arrived in Kigali ahead of a highly anticipated concert at Camp Kigali on Saturday, September 6, 2025. The artist, known globally for his contributions to Christian music, touched down in Rwanda earlier in the morning.

The concert will feature local acts including Chryso Ndasingwa, Rata Jah Naychah, and See Muzik, and is part of Lecrae’s global tour promoting his latest album, Reconstruction.

This African leg of his tour began on September 4, 2025, in Zimbabwe, followed by Zambia on September 5, before arriving in Kigali. After Rwanda, Lecrae will perform in Nairobi, Kenya, on September 7, and then move on to South Africa for three shows scheduled from September 10 to 13.

Born Lecrae Devaughn Moore, the rapper has released 10 studio albums and four mixtapes since beginning his solo music career in 2004. Over the course of his career, he has been nominated for 55 awards, winning 27, including four Grammy Awards, two of which he won last year alone.
